Abhishek Mazumdar

Abhishek Mazumdar is a Senior Research Software Engineer in the DAFNI team at UKRI. With a background in computer science and over a decade of experience in software development across diverse domains—including application development, gaming, fintech, and distributed control systems—he brings a versatile engineering skill set to his role. At DAFNI, Abhishek works on both backend and frontend design and development, contributing to the platform’s technical architecture and capabilities. He also has experience collaborating with research facilities, supporting their evolving computational and data-driven needs. In addition, Abhishek brings strong expertise in Agile delivery, project management, and team leadership, enabling him to drive high-quality engineering outcomes within complex research and infrastructure environments.
