James Acris

James is a Senior Research Software Engineer working in the DAFNI team. His time is spent almost entirely on the CReDO project where he architects, provisions, and maintains the compute infrastructure and supporting services for CReDO, with a focus on providing a secure platform for research using confidential datasets.

Prior to joining DAFNI, James completed the Scientific Computing (SC) graduate scheme at STFC, before becoming a Security Engineer in the SC Operational Security team for 3 years, during which time he developed and deployed major components of the SC security operations centre.
