DAFNI provides world-leading infrastructure systems research capabilities to upload and collaborate on the development of infrastructure data and model. We support the testing and exploration of scenarios, as well as linking together model outputs to investigate the cascading outcomes of triggers, such as environmental change or key policy decisions.
Course Content
Join our events to gain hands-on experience and learn the basics on how to use DAFNI in your projects projects.
- Getting Started with DAFNI – Learn the basics to start using DAFNI for your research.
- Uploading Data & Models – Discover how to upload your datasets and models to the DAFNI community.
- Creating Workflows in DAFNI – Understand how to build and execute workflows that connect models with datasets and parameters.
- Visualising Model Outputs – See how to effectively visualise and interpret your model results.
Target Audience
This training is for people who have some technical experience and wish to explore DAFNI as a way of collaborating on or sharing their modelling work. Most of our users are infrastructure researchers or model developers, who may already have an existing infrastructure model, or maybe taking their first steps into infrastructure model development.
The training will be hands-on and conducted remotely over Teams, using an online training platform, so a computer and Internet connection will be required during the event as well as another screen so you can watch the instructions and complete the steps on your laptop.
