Elizabeth Mamchits

Elizabeth Mamchits is a Research Software Engineer and the Scrum Master of the DAFNI platform within the Scientific Computing Department at STFC. Her role is split 50:50 between software development and user liaison. She focuses primarily on front-end development and works closely with the research community to ensure the platform meets user needs. Prior to joining DAFNI, Elizabeth completed the Scientific Computing graduate scheme, drawing on her background in Chemistry (MChem). During the scheme, she worked on projects across several teams, including automating Kubernetes deployments, leading the refactoring and optimization of legacy scientific modelling code, supporting scientific software projects as a technical project manager, and undertaking a placement focused on business development.
