Khuong An Nguyen

Khuong An Nguyen is Associate Professor of AI for Smart Transport at Royal Holloway University of London. His ultimate goal is to make transport systems more reliable, resilient, and impactful in people’s daily lives. Academically, his work has received 2 Best Paper Awards, 1 Best Poster Award, 3 US Patents, and over £1M UKRI funding.

Beyond academia, he has been collaborating with government departments and industry partners to apply his research, including trials with the Cabinet Office, Ministry of Defence, Department for Transport, NHS, Southeastern Railway, and Network Rail. Through this DAFNI Fellowship, he aims to deliver a transport resilience showcase on the DAFNI platform; and attract new interdisciplinary transport partners and stakeholders.
