Lewis Sampson

Dr. Lewis Sampson has been working within DAFNI since May 2023, his title is Research Software Engineer and has previous experience with GPU programming, wave/ocean modelling, and academic research. Now his work typically focusses on the maintenance and improvement of DAFNI’s infrastructure, building experience in Kubernetes, systems administration, and cloud computing. However, he is also a member of the development team working on the API’s and has additional responsibilities for supporting agile coordination of the Systems team and encouraging cross–communication for internal SCD divisions and externally via public engagement.
