Sarah Byrne

Sarah Byrne is a Senior Software Engineer and the technical Product Owner of the DAFNI platform within the Scientific Computing department at STFC. She is responsible for defining technical priorities for the team, working with fellow developers to define the scope and requirements of work packages, as well as contributing to the maintenance of the platform and the development of new features. She has been a member of the DAFNI team for over 3 years. Prior to working at DAFNI, Sarah completed the graduate scheme in the Scientific Computing department where she worked across several teams on a range of projects. These included integrating a new authentication method into a production service and simulating physical systems to contribute to ISIS beamtime proposals.
