Resilience
Infrastructure systems need to be able to withstand and recover from disruptions, whether caused by natural disasters, cyberattacks, or other unforeseen events. Resilience is key in our world’s increasing needs to be adaptable and recover quickly. DAFNI has worked with collaborators on forecasting resilience of railway networks and exploring the resilience of the UK aviation system during mass diversion events.

Project name: Infrastructure Research Ontologies
The project includes seven work packages as outlined below and will culminate in the development of an ontology for infrastructure research, the absence of which is seen as a challenge to DAFNI’s sustainability.
