Pre-event preparation work
In order to get the most out of the training, we have some pre-course homework for you to complete in advance of the training on the 14th September.
Step One – Download and install Docker Desktop.
Here are the links you need: https://docs.docker.com/docker-for-windows/install/ / https://docs.docker.com/docker-for-mac/install/
You will need administrative privileges to add this to your laptop. The earlier you install this, the earlier you can solve any potential problems. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to do this on the morning of the training as it can take some time.
Step Two – Download example model:
We are providing an example model for the training. Please download the model and instructions and keep these in a folder you can access on the day. The model is available here: https://github.com/dafnifacility/dafni-example-models/tree/master/uk-climate-analysis
This event is fully booked. If you would like to be added to our waiting list, please email us at info@dafni.ac.uk
